(re)farming Kerynia

Traditional shrimp farming is re-phrased onshore located on Cyprus’ north coast adjacent to a deep-water port. Existing fishing and agriculture and potential tourism will engage with a new infrastructure of routes and shelter.

(re)farming Kerynia aims to create new environmentally conscious methods of artificial shrimp and algae farming in order to expand the economic potential of the area. Strategic decisions are influenced primarily by environmental factors, responding to topography, prevailing wind flows, sun patterns, seasonal changes, the farming cycle and opportunities to harness natural energy.
